At His Cross- Three Word Wednesday

easter-new

How many times have we ran to someone for something in our life? As kids we run to mum and dad for our needs whether they are physical or emotional. We run to our siblings and friends to share our inner secrets and desires. As we grow older we tend to do the same thing.

If we have a problem we run to someone we trust and know that they will listen and find ways to help us. Others tend to seek professional help because they believe it will help them.

If we are sick we go to the doctor or the pharmacist. If we are hurting or have huge burdens we run to a loved one, a friend or someone we know will be able to help and comfort us.

This is all great but what we tend to do is forget to run to the One who walked where we walk, who felt what we feel, who suffered what we suffer, who knows our every single need, dream , desire, fear, everything. We neglect to run to Him, to His cross. The cross that freed us from our sins, that showed the amazing love He has for us.

At His cross, GRACE is found

At His cross, MERCY is found

At His cross, FORGIVENESS is found

At His cross, PEACE is found

At His cross, acceptance, light, joy, peace, redemption, healing, restoration, contentment, rest, wholeness, beauty, blessings and all that we desire is found.

At His cross amazing, unconditional, unfailing LOVE is found!

Whatever you may be dealing with in your life at this moment, just run to His cross. Lay it all at the foot of His cross. Don’t take it back once you lay it there. Take His yoke upon you instead! Draw nearer to Him and He will draw nearer to you!

This is a song I sang at Church on Palm Sunday this past Easter Season.

May you all be blessed! Sending much love to all!

Natasha

  1. So true! Thank you for reminding me of the gifts I find at the foot of the cross- with all the good things He gives us, why do we hesitate? Thanks for linking up with Three Word Wednesday!

    1. Thank you for stopping by dear Laura! I often ask myself the same question, why do I hesitate to run to Him? Wishing you a blessed day!!! xoxoxo

  2. Amen! Amen! So good Natasha. Everything we need is found at the cross. Thank you for linking this beautiful post up for Three Word Wednesday.

  3. There is no better place to run to than the cross. Thanks for the reminder that we can take whatever we need to there.

  4. Thank you for this reminder that “we do not have a High Priest who cannot be touched with the feelings of our infirmities, but was tempted in all points like we are, except for sin.” What a blessing to know that there is so much on the table for us to enjoy; how sad that we take so little of it.

    Bless you, dear sister.

YOUR COMMENTS BRING SO MUCH JOY TO ME, ESPECIALLY KNOWING THAT MOST OF US ARE MILES AND MILES AWAY FROM EACH OTHER. IT MAKES ME FEEL AS IF WE ARE TOGETHER ENJOYING FELLOWSHIP WITH EACH OTHER, ENCOURAGING ONE ANOTHER AS WE GET ON WITH OUR DAILY JOURNEY IN LIFE
