Forgive Generously and you will be Free and Blessed

Great Word today followed by awesome worship.

I won’t say anything but share just a few notes of today’s sermon.

Ephesians 4:32 “and be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ has forgiven you.”

There will always be moments of hurt, moments of pain. But our God is bigger than any of those things, and God is generous in forgiveness… So that we in turn can be generous in forgiveness. And we must so be.

We have a choice today: prison or freedom. Negative emotions and spiritual bondage, or light and lightness. To be free and raise your hands in victory!

Learn to forgive QUICKLY and GENEROUSLY. It is what is right, and what is to your benefit!

Do not deceive yourself. When you want someone else to PAY for their actions, then you can not forgive.

It really takes more effort to NOT forgive than to do so. It creates a weight that stays with you and haunts you.

Only when you give love/forgiveness away can you receive it multiplied back to you.

Forgiveness is obedience to God. Unforgiveness is disobedience to God. Disobedience is sin. Period.

The most important reason we must forgive: it reflects Christ’s work in us.

May you all be blessed!!!

  1. Hi Natasha! Isn’t it just the best when preachers hit us where we are? It creates such a wonderful connection between the Scripture and life. Love it! Even the music got to you. You had a good day, didn’t you?

I agree that it’s so energy-sapping to hold a grudge. It just undermines peace so much, that we can never seem to get back to serenity. Your words reminded me of the saying that it takes more muscles to frown than to smile. Same idea as holding or releasing our pain.
Great, uplifting post today! Hope you had a good Monday 🙂

YOUR COMMENTS BRING SO MUCH JOY TO ME, ESPECIALLY KNOWING THAT MOST OF US ARE MILES AND MILES AWAY FROM EACH OTHER. IT MAKES ME FEEL AS IF WE ARE TOGETHER ENJOYING FELLOWSHIP WITH EACH OTHER, ENCOURAGING ONE ANOTHER AS WE GET ON WITH OUR DAILY JOURNEY IN LIFE
